Leading Roles (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of all candidates, clients, employees, contractors and visitors to our website. We manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in connection with our recruitment, consulting and HR services.

  • Through third-party job platforms (SEEK, LinkedIn and others)

  • From referees, previous employers, professional associations or educational institutions

  • From publicly available sources

  • From assessments, checks or verifications required for a role

  • From clients we partner with during recruitment processes

  • Where you provide information about another person (such as a referee), you confirm that you have their consent to do so.

We collect, use and disclose personal information for purposes including:

For candidates

  • Assessing suitability for roles and presenting you to clients

  • Managing applications, interviews and placements

  • Conducting reference, qualification or work rights checks

  • Facilitating assessments and training

  • Providing career guidance and related services

  • Meeting our legal obligations

For clients

  • Delivering recruitment and consulting services

  • Understanding organisational needs and project requirements

  • Business development and client relationship management

  • Referees or third parties providing information to verify your experience

  • Assessment providers, background screening providers or other service partners

  • Our IT, website, cloud storage or database providers

  • Insurers, legal or professional advisers

  • Government, regulatory, law enforcement or statutory bodies where required

  • Any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain the information

Some of our service providers may be located outside Australia, including cloud storage providers. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information in accordance with the APPs.

We may use your personal information to send newsletters, job alerts, updates or invitations.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in communications or by contacting us.
