Scenic Rim Regional Council are seeking a Senior Governance and Risk Officer to provide specialist advice on a range of functions including legislative compliance, operational and risk matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of advice to internal stakeholders on legislation and policy compliance.
- Assess and process Right to Information applications and the management of complaints.
- Management of key registers and frameworks such as annual policy and procedural reviews, the Delegation of Authority Register, Local Laws, and the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications, experience and personal attributes:
- Experience working within a corporate governance or risk function, ideally within government or a highly regulated environment.
- Experience in assessment and decision-making processes related to Right to Information, Public Interest Disclosure and the application of governance legislation.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Law, Business, Commerce, Public Administration or similar.
