Regional Manager People and Culture - Northern Territory
- Lead a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for Council and the community
- 3-month contract with permanency opportunity
- An opportunity to experience rural Northern Territory
Leading Roles is seeking an Interim Regional Manager People and Culture for a minimum three-month contract, with the possibility of extension or permanency. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of this contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the People and Culture team in delivering outcomes in recruitment, induction, development, and compliance
- Guide and influence line managers in people management
- Drive industrial relations decision making
- Support the development and implementation of performance review and development frameworks
- Mentor the People and Culture team in translating human resources theory into practice
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor of Human Resources or equivalent work experience
- Cultural awareness regarding Indigenous Australians in remote areas
- Workplace Health and Safety knowledge
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential and previous experience working in a local government will be highly regarded.
