Operations Coordinator Water Sewer | Richmond Valley
Salary: $98,238 - $112,975 + up to $35k market allowance + super + private leaseback vehicle
Lead the operations of water and sewer services in the Richmond Valley region
Significant project opportunities
Richmond Valley Council is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Coordinator Water Sewer to join the team. The position is pivotal in overseeing the effective management of Council’s water and sewer services. Reporting to the Manager Water Sewer and Projects, the position provides leadership and management in the operations, maintenance, and strategic development of water and sewer services in the Richmond Valley region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead people management and change management initiatives to ensure a high-performing team.
Have significant input into a broad range of projects.
Manage operations and maintenance of water and sewer services in the Richmond Valley region.
Provide technical expertise in water and sewer services to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Ensure strong time management to meet project deadlines and service delivery targets.
Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Civil/Environmental/Chemical or Process Engineering or other relevant qualification.
A minimum of 7 years within a similar position is highly desirable.
Strong time management and resource delegation skills.
Capability in contract and project management advantageous.
