Tweed Shire Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Water & Wastewater - Business & Assets to oversee the delivery of high-quality water and wastewater services to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the asset & financial management of all water and wastewater infrastructure including forward planning.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

• Manage the development and delivery of capital works projects, ensuring on time delivery, to a high standard, and to budget.

• Prepare and manage the water and wastewater budget and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.

• Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders including internal teams, development industry, government authorities, and the community.

• Provide strong leadership through inspiring employees and supporting learning and development.

Skills and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering (or similar discipline), and a significant working history in a position of similar scope

• Demonstrated broad knowledge of water supply and wastewater systems and experience in asset management, strategic planning, land development, and project management.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
