Isaac Regional Council is seeking a transformative Manager Infrastructure, Parks and Recreation to provide strategic and operational leadership to a highly motivated team.
The Manager Infrastructure, Parks and Recreation will ensure an integrated approach to the delivery of infrastructure services across the Isaac region.
The role is responsible for all planned maintenance, renewal and upgrades of all infrastructure including roads, drainage structures, open spaces, playground equipment, irrigation, footpaths and sporting infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide strong leadership to the highly motivated engineering and infrastructure teams;
- Maintenance and development of Roads and Drainage, parks and Recreational assets;
- Lead the management and delivery of operational and capital infrastructure programs; and
- Prepare, track, monitor and review twenty-year infrastructure operational and capital budgets and forward strategic plans.
Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering and substantial experience and success in a similar role will be well regarded. Highly developed communication skills are essential to this role as well as the desire to mentor and guide the team.
The Isaac Regional Council services a community of 23,500 in the townships of Moranbah, Belyando, Dysart and Clermont, and is located in the coalfields of Central Queensland. Council employs approximately 400 staff and has an annual budget of $99M.
