Hobart City Council is seeking a Manager Development Appraisal to lead the development assessment activities of the City and provide expert technical advice to the community, the Council, and other stakeholders.
Hobart City is booming, and the Manager Development Appraisal will have a leading role in balancing the at-times contrasting demands of achieving city planning goals and the expectations of community, elected members and the development industry.
Major projects are underway, such as the relocation of the University of Tasmania to the CBD and inner-city redevelopment, and this provides an outstanding opportunity for a development planning leader to shape the future of the city.
