Snowy Valleys Council are seeking a Manager Customer and Technology to lead and manage the development of the organisation's technology and customer service functions to improve access and enhance the community's experience of council's services.

The Opportunity
The Manager Customer and Technology will facilitate excellent customer experiences across the range of automated and in-person touch points with Council's internal and externally facing services.
Council has industry leading capability in sections of its Customer Service stream which can be more broadly implemented across the organisation.
This role will have a significant and visible impact on the way that Council serves the needs of the community and will improve the way that Council does business across the entire organisation.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Substantial leadership experience in IT with a solid understanding of delivery of excellence in Customer Experience
- The ability to develop and deliver technology strategy that supports and enhances all areas of an organisation
- The ability to support a shift in culture to a 'customer first' approach
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to engage with the Executive Leaders, Council Staff and the community.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary team in a complex organisation.
