Interim Senior Governance Officer
Leading Roles is seeking an experienced Senior Governance Officer for an interim contract (approx. 2-3 months) within a council in SE Qld.
Provide high level corporate support and expert advice in Governance function, risk, strategic policy and local law.
Essential skills and experience:
- Thorough knowledge of council structure and programs and extensive experience in a similar role within council is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the Local Government Act 2000, associated regulations & the broader legislative framework within which council operates.
- Relevant education, training and/or equivalent experience.
