Gympie Regional Council is seeking an infrastructure Engineer to assist in delivering best practice and effective management of the Gympie Regional Council's $670 Million Transportation and Stormwater asset portfolio.
This is a key role in the organisation supporting the Design Manager in developing and improving the Engineering Service's Asset Management process and delivering strategies including:
- Preparation, review and updating Asset Management Plans
- Development, review and application of target levels of service
- Providing technical advice and reporting.
- Coordinating the condition assessment of existing infrastructure
- Contributing to the development of the 10-year Capital Plan

About the Person
This position requires candidate with previous experience in strategy and asset management plan development and someone who has strong knowledge of GIS systems. They must have a high attention to detail and excellent written and communication skills. An Engineers Australia accepted bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent qualification is essential.
