The North Burnett Regional Council is seeking people-focused corporate services leader for the organisation's next General Manager Corporate and Community Services.

Organisational Contribution
The General Manager Community and Corporate will be a leader in providing the foundations for the success of the organisation through structured engagement with the communities of the North Burnett and shaping and delivering fit-for-purpose strategy and plans for a successful, sustainable organisation.

The portfolio is broad, and there are significant opportunities to build cohesion, strengthen collaboration, improve performance and break down silos within the team.
People leadership is key, and the organisation will respond to a leader who can connect the goals and strategy, and community outcomes of the organisation to the day to day activities of the council's teams and individual staff.
Operational Management
Council is a highly financially constrained organisation and is critical that candidates demonstrate experience in finding business efficiencies and expenditure savings through business process improvement and change management.
