Fraser Coast Regional Council offer an opportunity for a Water Treatment Executive to take a leading role in council's provision of Water Treatment Operations.

As the Executive Manager Process Operations, Wide Bay Water & Waste Services, you will lead the operations of water treatment and waste water treatment plants in the Fraser Coast region safely, efficiently and effectively.

The Wide Bay Water & Waste Services (WBW&WS) Process Operations business has been restructured to bring together operational and technical staff. As the leader of the operational team you will develop the strategy and plans to operate the business unit, driving processes improvement and developing staff capabilities to enhance the quality and compliance of business outcomes.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing budget and personnel performance of the Process Operations group against the organisation's plans and objectives;
  • Contributing to the preparation of long-term strategic plans specifically in relation to water and wastewater treatment and effluent reuse; and
  • Providing advice to the Director, Executive Management Team and Advisory Committee of any changes in the legislative or business environment covering the process operations area.
