The Opportunity
North Burnett Regional Council is seeking a motivated professional to join the team as the Customer Experience & Communities Manager. This is an opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the region and make a real impact on the local community.
As the Customer Experience & Communities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective management of the Council's Customer Service and Library Centres, cemeteries, community development, arts and culture, sport and disaster management. The position reports to the General Manager Corporate and Community. This role will have a strong focus on Community Engagement initiatives, continuous improvement and Team Management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead your teams to deliver professional and efficient customer services, across the Council's contact centre, libraries, cemeteries, community development, arts and culture and sport and recreation for the North Burnett region.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and satisfaction
Manage a dynamic team, providing technical expertise and operational leadership
Ensure compliance with operational plans and legislative responsibilities
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, across Council, the Community and Government Bodies
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
Previous experience in customer service, community development, arts and culture, and/or sport and recreation initiatives, preferably with a broad range of exposure to various disciplines
An advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to foster strong working stakeholder relationships
