The Construction and Maintenance Supervisor is a key role within the Council's Infrastructure Services team and is responsible for supervising the construction and maintenance of Council's road and street works (including drainage) by Council's day labour workforce and sub-contractors. You will manage your workgroup with a focus on safety, operational compliance and work quality.
Assist in planning, managing and providing leadership, including coordination of operations and performance. Your skills and experience in project management, including; planning and prioritising work, adherence to budgets, your ability to multi-task with varied and different projects and promoting a strong safety culture.

About the Person
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar position or a demonstrated desire to advance your capabilities to a supervisory level, with a focus on leadership, project management and customer service orientation. A thorough understanding of Asset Management processes is important, and you will be committed to leading a positive safety culture.
Qualifications relevant to the role, in particular a Cert IV Civil Construction is desirable as is experience in Reflect technology (or similar) and you require a Construction Industry Safety induction (White card).
