Asset Technical Officer - Data Maintenance
Whitsunday Regional Council, North Queensland

The Asset Technical Officer - Data Maintenance will be a key member of Council's Infrastructure Services team administering and maintaining a rolling asset condition program for council's roads and drainage assets.

The Opportunity:

  • Contribute to and support the ongoing development and operation of council's transport infrastructure strategies.
  • Live and work in the Whitsunday region.
  • Permanent role, offering work / life balance, 9-day fortnight, 5 weeks annual leave

Qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure asset inspections and asset data collection within Local Government or related entity.
  • Proven data administration skills, including computer skills especially in word processing, spreadsheets, database manipulation
  • Certificate in Asset Management Planning (or similar) recognised by IPWEA.
  • Civil Engineering tertiary qualifications - highly regarded.
