Isaac Regional Council is seeking a dedicated Strategic Asset Manager to lead the development and implementation of asset management frameworks, policies, and strategic planning documents. The successful candidate will ensure that asset management systems and practices are efficient, effective, and compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.

As a Strategic Asset Manager, you will lead, motivate, and support asset management staff to achieve organisational goals. • Provide progress and status reports to senior management, offering advice on departmental improvement initiatives and promoting collaboration and integration of asset management across all Council departments.

  • Ensure efficient and effective asset management systems and practices are developed and continuously monitored across the organisation, aligning with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated collaborative leadership experience.

  • A vested interest in career development, with an opportunity to both shape and advance the role.

Working and Living in the Region

The Isaac Region is at the forefront of change and innovation regionally, nationally, and globally. The region’s opportunities include mining development, clean energy, agriculture, economic diversification, and investment attraction. Picturesque coastal villages and modern mining towns offer a diverse combination of coastal and country living.
