Procurement Specialist - Central Victoria

Leading Roles is seeking an Interim Procurement Specialist in Central Victoria for a minimum three-month contract, with the possibility of extension or permanency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality advice regarding procurement, contract management, and probity advice and assistance
  • Provide leadership and support to the procurement and insurance teams
  • Ensure best practice standards are met in the procurement and contract management functions
  • Drive innovation and compliance within procurement and organisation-wide
  • Participate in tender evaluation
  • Identify training needs within procurement to ensure compliance and risk control

Essential skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in procurement, contract management or other relevant field or significant work experience within procurement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of contract and consumer law, Trades Practices legislation, and the National Competition Policy.
  • A current Victorian driver's license.
