Charters Towers Regional Council is seeking a transformative corporate services professional to provide leadership and expertise to a diverse suite of corporate service functions.
The Manager Corporate Solutions leads Council's corporate services teams, including financial services, IT, Records Management, Procurement and Customer Services and supports the performance and development of the council organisation.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing both operational and strategic financial advice to the organisation;
- Developing financial capability and providing decision support with non-financial managers in the organisation;
- Driving cultural change, encouraging a strong customer-focused approach to working with community and internal stakeholders; and
- Building capability and capacity in the Corporate Solutions team.
Tertiary or post-graduate Qualifications in finance and substantial experience and a history of success in a similar role will be well regarded.
