The Infrastructure Assets Manager plays a key role within Hinchinbrook Shire Council's management team. This is an ideal opportunity to advance your career working within an organisation that values its people and the community.
The role is responsible for leading the design team to drive forward works planning and design for the delivery of council's capital works programmes and projects. As the Infrastructure Assets Manager, you will drive the maintenance of detailed asset management data and program forecasting along with GIS services within Council.
Skills and Personal Attributes Required:
- Civil Engineering Qualification and experience in a similar role.
- RPEQ Qualification or willingness to obtain.
- Strong asset management knowledge and infrastructure planning experience.
- Technical knowledge of roads and drainage design processes, the ability to guide, review and sign off on construction plans.
- High-level understanding of design and ability to drive a briefing on capital works project outcomes.
- An engaging, genuine communicator willing to drive effective community consultation to contribute to design input processes.
- A leader, with the ability to support, mentor and develop a technical team.
