Gympie Regional Council is seeking a Coordinator Business Improvement to assist in delivering business improvement objectives and support Council's vision of providing a prosperous region that strengthens the local community.

This is key role in the organisation reporting into the Manager - Business Support and will play a significant part in the business improvement objectives of the directorate.

Primary responsibilities involve:

  • Business Analysis to implement improved systems and processes for monitoring and reporting of business indicators;
  • Improve reporting, and bring clarity to the measurement of performance of the Directorate;
  • Work with cross functional teams to deliver far reaching initiatives, bridging the gap between business/operations and technology;
  • Support the development of customer service standards, systems and processes ensuring a strong customer focus; and
  • Manage and lead administrative support staff deployed across the Directorate.

To Be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in business management or communications or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience
  • Experience in business improvement, business analysis and change management.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, managing and leading high performing teams with a focus on customer services and continuous improvement.
