Chief Executive Officer
Somerset Regional Council is seeking to appoint a proven, future focused and inspiring leader with the experience and ability to implement Council's vision of delivering an affordable and enviable lifestyle for their local community.
About the Role
The Council is seeking a Chief Executive Officer who has significant Local Government experience and exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes. The successful candidate must have the economic, governance, business and financial acumen to lead Council while achieving results for the local community.
The position will be of interest to candidates who have experience in the following fields:
- Councillor and Community engagement
- Delivery of a performance and customer service culture within the workforce
- Economic Development
- Financial, Asset and Infrastructure Management
The CEO will lead a team of highly experienced and motivated Directors, in the delivery of key projects.
